DETROIT, Oct. 2. -- Governor Roosevelt in effect served notice today on John F. Curry, leader of Tammany, and John H. McCooey, Brooklyn. Democratic leader, that he was 100 per cent back of Lieut. Gov. Herbert H. Lehman for the Democratic nomination for Governor of New York.
