Andrew Toney is an American former professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1980 to 1988. A two-time NBA All-Star, he won an NBA championship with the 76ers in 1983. Contemporary basketball greats Larry Bird and Sidney Moncrief put Toney on par with Michael Jordan offensively. Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe called Toney, β€œβ€˜the most forgotten great player in NBA history.’”
