Jack Scott, writer and radical critic of nation's organized sports system, reptdly is being sought in connection with whereabouts of Patricia Hearst; Scott, in telephone int with NY Times reporter, says that his atty is discussing his situation with Fed authorities; implies that he knew something of Miss Hearst's activities since she was listed as a fugitive last June: Scott's apparent role in case is disclosed by Portland Trail Blazers basketball player Bill Walton, who is friendly with Scott and his wife Micki; Walton's atty says FBI agents had spoken to Walton concerning Hearst case but that he had no knowledge of cither Hearst or SLA; says Scotts recently lived with Walton in his Portland home; other developments in case include: Justice Dept official saying that FBI believed Hearst and 3 companions had left farmhouse in South Canaan, Pa, sometime last summer and that Scott is believed to have paid for rent at farmhouse; both FBI and US Atty supervising Pa grand jury's inquiries into case say statement by witness Jay Weiner may have contained code message for Hearst; FBI is investigating repts that Hearst was in Las Vegas area after leaving Pa, since Scott's parents reside in Las Vegas; Fed grand jury in Oakland, Calif, issues warrant for Wendy Masako Yoshimura, wanted in connection with plot to bomb Naval Reserve Officers Training Corp at Univ of Calif at Berkeley in '72; Yoshimura is allegedly to be with Hearst and William and Emily Harris; por of Jack Scott; his career noted (L)
