Trump Says He May Miss Bond Interest Payments With the outlook gloomy for his Atlantic City casinos, Donald Trump said that he might not make nearly $90 million in interest payments due tomorrow on his bonds. He has enough cash, he said, but may try to negotiate with bondholders to reduce the amount owed because his casinos are loaded with debt and confronting increased competition. At least some bondholders said they did not take Mr. Trump's threats seriously. They are wondering whether Mr. Trump is trying to take advantage of a decline in bond prices to cut a deal.
