A "crusade" for tax reduction was advocated by Senator William E. Borah of Idaho, one of several speakers who discussed the "Mellon Plan for Tax Reduction and the Bonus' 'yesterday afternoon at the Republican Club. He said that the burden of taxation had reached the point where it had become not only an economic but a moral problem.
