WASHINGTON, Feb. 11. -- By a vote of 47 to 34 the Senate at 5:15 o'clock this afternoon adopted the resolution which informs the President that "it is the sense of the United States Senate that the President of the United States immediately request the resignation of Edwin Denby as Secretary of the Navy."
