NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 31. -- Chilhowee, owned by the stable of that name and a leading candidate for the rich stakes of the Winter meetings at New Orleans and Tijuana, was decisively defeated this afternoon for the second time at the Fair Grounds, finishing third in the mile dash of the Once Around Purse, which was won by H.C. Riddle's gelding.
