It was a strange and almost unprecedented scene that was enacted yesterday in the sun parlor atop the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria, where delegates from the country over gathered for the forty-fifth annual meeting of the United States Lawn Tennis Association. Without the semblance of a verbal battle, with perfect harmony and unanimity, the delegates sat through the shortest and most peaceful session in forty years.
