SAM JANNEY, whose play, "Loose Ankles," holds promise of being one of the first hits of the new season, has been impending in the local theatre for several years. While this is his initial New York production, he has had one play tried out on the road, two others accepted for metropolitan presentation and provided some of the best laughs in two plays written by other authors.
