TOKIO, Tuesday, Sept. 13 (AP). -- Tired and exhausted, as well as considerably discouraged, Edward F. Schlee and William S. Brock went to bed early at Omura last night. But they are still determined, they told an Associated Press representative that they expected to fly from the Kasumigaura naval flying field to the Midway Islands soon, as this would be the only chance they would have of breaking the round-the-world record.
