LONDON, Jan. 7. -- The Daily Telegraph's Moscow correspondent reports tonight that "the dreadful cold" caused frozen signals and was to blame for the wrecking of the Leningrad-Moscow all-sleeper express. Although the number killed has not yet been revealed, the wreck is described as "one of the worst in Russia in recent times," and the number of killed is openly admitted to be "heavy."
