KIMBALL, S.D., Nov. 11 (AP). -- Elated but weary, Captains Anderson and Stevens slipped into Kimball late tonight, bade several hundred well-wishers "good-night" and retired in a small hotel without announcing plans for the future. Both expressed complete satisfaction with the flight.

RAPID CITY, S.D., Nov. 11. -- Flights into the stratosphere in three balloons have been made on ten occasions. Three of these expeditions ended in accidents, and in two of them men lost their lives. In each flight the object was scientific research, including cosmic ray, meteorological, zoological and electrical studies.
