Sir Martin John Gilbert was a British historian and honorary Fellow of Merton College, Oxford. He was the author of 88 books, including works on Winston Churchill, the 20th century, and Jewish history including the Holocaust. He was a member of the Chilcot Inquiry into Britain's role in the Iraq War.
1936Arnfinn Nesset, Norwegian nurse and convicted serial killer[â ]
Arnfinn Nesset is a Norwegian former nurse, nursing home manager, and a convicted serial killer. His crimes include the murders of at least 22 people, as well as attempted murder, document forgery, and embezzlement. He may have murdered up to 138 people. In 1983, he was convicted of poisoning 22 patients and sentenced to 21 years in prison. He served 12 years and 10 years of supervision and is thought to be living under an assumed name.
1936Masako Nozawa, Japanese actress and singer[â ]
Masako Nozawa is a Japanese actress. Beginning work as a child actress at the age of three, by the time she became an adult, voice acting had inadvertently become her main occupation. Throughout her career, Nozawa has been affiliated with Production Baobab, 81 Produce, the self-owned Office Nozawa and Aoni Production. She is best known as the voice of Son Goku in the Dragon Ball franchise, beginning with its first animated adaptation in 1986. She also voices most of the character's male relatives, namely Son Gohan, Son Goten, and Bardock. Nozawa's other roles include KitarÅ in GeGeGe no KitarÅ, Doraemon in the 1973 anime, and TetsurÅ Hoshino in Galaxy Express 999 (1978).
