A fist fight rarely equaled in intensity on a major league baseball diamond embroiled the Giants and Cardinals yesterday at Sportsman's Park in St. Louis. After special policemen and umpires restored order, Carl Hubbell, who had remained on the sidelines, stepped calmly to the pitching mound to finish the job of defeating Dizzy Dean and his St. Louis team-mates, 4--1.
