ST. LOUIS, July 20--A rousing three-bagger by Joe Orengo in the seventh inning, with an accompanying error by Dixie Walker, broke a deadlock between the Dodgers and Cards and gave the Gas Housers the opener of the series today, 3-2, tumbling the Durochers four games behind the league-leading Reds.
