WASHINGTON, June 16 -- President Truman denied today that the unemployment situation amounted to a crisis, but promised that the Administration viewpoint on the problem would be expressed in his mid-year economic message to Congress next month.

Philip Charles Lithman, who performed under the stage name Snakefinger, was an English musician, singer and songwriter. A multi-instrumentalist, he was best known for his guitar and violin work and his collaborations with The Residents.
