CLIFFORD ODETS's &#8220;The Country Girl,&#8221; which has turned up in a vigorous, flashy, emo tionally satisfying revival at the Billy Rose after an earlier stint at the Kennedy Center in Washington, is built like a boxing match. Two contend ers spar with, jab at, and foul each other in an eight&#8208;round bout, fighting for the survival of a seedy third party, an often drunken ex&#8208;star who might just be nursed through a Broadway comeback. In the revival the shaky, florid actor is played by Jason Robards, rubbing the back of his hand across his mouth to conceal his nerves. The two people who do battle to defend and in fact define him are George Grizzard, cocky young direc tor of a show that may col lapse if its star does, and Maureen Stapleton, wife, governess, goad and weary sec ond to Mr. Robards. So much for broad outlines.

Jason Ramond Maxwell is an American former professional baseball player. Primarily an infielder, Maxwell first played in 1998 for the Chicago Cubs. Maxwell played the 2000 and 2001 seasons with the Minnesota Twins. Maxwell attended Marshall County High School in Lewisburg, TN, where he played high school baseball for the Tigers. Maxwell is now the Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director for Ensworth High School in Nashville, TN. He has also coached several U15 and U18 teams for USA Baseball. Some of his favorite players from the USA development program include Royce Lewis, Anthony Volpe and Dylan Crews. Maxwell recommended that his former club, the Twins, select Lewis with the first overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft.
