Kissinger confs with Nixon at Fla White House on June 17 then flies to Camp David and discusses last‐min matters with Brezhnev preparatory to Brezhnev‐Nixon confs beginning June 18; spends 3 hrs with Brezhnev reviewing agenda; Nixon later flies to White House; Brezhnev, before receiving Kissinger, confs with his top aides, including Min Gromyko and Amb Dobrynin; several thousand people attend rally in front of Capitol steps in Washington sponsored by Amer Jewish orgns to draw attention to their complaints about treatment of Soviet Jews; Sen Jackson and others addressing crowd urge Nixon to press Brezhnev for more liberal emigration policy; after rally, protesters march about mi to Ellipse, near White House, carrying placards denouncing Soviet policy and urging release of Jews imprisoned in USSR, allegedly for seeking to go to Israel; in addition to demonstrations by Jewish groups, Brezhnev's visit has been protested by various emigre orgns representing minorities in USSR; as matter of security, the entire block on which Soviet Embassy is situated has been cordoned off to traffic and pedestrians

Gavin Adrian Wanganeen is a former Australian rules footballer and, after retirement, artist. He played for the Essendon Football Club and Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), and also for the Port Adelaide Magpies in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). A Brownlow Medal winner and Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee, Wanganeen was appointed Port Adelaide's inaugural captain upon entry into the AFL in 1997 and is the first Indigenous Australian footballer to win the Brownlow Medal and reach the 300-game milestone at senior VFL/AFL level.
