WASHINGTON, June 6—President Nixon was named last February by a Watergate grand jury as an unit dicted co‐conspirator in the alleged attempt to cover up the Watergate burglary, his lawyer, James D. St. Clair, confirmed today.

 

Rutgers University has agreed to pay more than $375,000 in compensation to women and ethnic minority faculty members who have been receiving lower salaries than their white male colleagues. It was said to be the largest such payment made by any university in the nation. Page 39.
