G.O.P. Hails Wilson On Patronage Jobs

pol observers believe that Gov Wilson has already demonstrated talent for dispensing patronage more suitable to Repub party leaders than predecessor Nelson A Rockefeller; Wilson has made 467 apptmts of his own in 1st 6 mos in office; pattern of apptmts thus far shows more of careful Wilson style; party officials no longer find relative strangers presenting iou's for jobs that were promised to them in some fast, enthusiastic chat with Rockefeller outside patronage channel; Wilson method is more studied, and Repub officials say that while there has been no large-scale scattering of high-paying jobs, there have been number of reassuring signs from Wilson; these include greater reliance by Wilson on preference of local county orgns, units in lower chain of command that Rockefeller was accused of ignoring at times; also cited is Wilson's first-hand, detailed knowledge of people and places, garnered in 35 yrs of involvement in state pol; observers also point to Wilson's avoidance of grand gesture in apptmts that party professionals sometimes found disquieting about Rockefeller

FTC announces that it will undertake nationwide investigation of development and management of residential condominiums; spokesman says comm will concentrate initially on developments in Fla and will specifically investigate 2 problems; 1 involves agreements under which certain cos must be hired to manage bldgs, sometimes at excessive fees, and other involves long-term leases under which owners of condominiums must rent swimming pools and other recreational facilities; critics say these practices enable developers to offer units at deceptively low prices which they can recover by charging high fees; comm will also investigate conversion of rental apts to condominiums; in June '74, HR approved amendment to HUD Act that would authorize Govt study of consumer problems with condominiums; legis, sponsored by Repr Benjamin Rosenthal, would require HUD Sec to rept findings and recommendations within 1 yr

Márcio Amoroso dos Santos is a Brazilian football pundit and former professional player who mainly played as a forward. He played for several teams in his home country as well as in Japan, Italy, Germany, Spain and Greece while also representing Brazil at international level, winning the 1999 Copa América. A talented striker with great dribbling skills and goalscoring ability, Amoroso was also capable of creating chances for teammates.

Sarah Taylor is a former Jersey female squash player. She represented Jersey at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, where she had competed in the women's singles and mixed doubles. In the mixed doubles, she partnered her husband Nick Taylor during the multi-sport event. Sarah Taylor is regarded as a finest squash player to have represented Jersey at international competitions especially winning a silver medal at the 2011 Island Games in the women's singles event.
