Mexico scored only its second Davis Cup tennis victory in history over the United States yesterday when Raul Ramirez defeated Roscoe Tanner, a left‐hander from Tennessee, 7‐5, 7‐9, 6‐4, 6‐2, in the North American zone final at Palm Springs, Calif. Mexico won the competition, three matches to two.
