BUCHANAN WITH his burly build, generously sized jaw and gravelly voice, Theodore A. Rebelowski, could be cast as a middle‐aged police sergeant. And policeman he is in a sense, as the Federal guardian of public health and safety at Indian Point. Mr. Rebelowski spends his days seeking clues to the safe or unsafe operation of the three nuclear reactors sitting in the populous suburbs along northern Westchester's Hudson shoreline. His world is one of specifications, tolerances, measurements, temperatures, pressures and flows.

What are we to make of the new wave of art reproductions tat are now coming on the market, usually through mail‐order promotions, bearing fancy prices and the names of prestigious sponsors and claiming some sort of special status either as art objects or as financial investments or both? Some 500,000 copies of a slick, colorful catalogue advertising 96 items from “The Nelson Rockefeller Collection” have been in circulation since Labor Day, and two weeks ago a showroom was opened on 57th Street in New York to beef‐up the promotion of this so‐called “collection” of reproductions.
