As the taxi makes its way up the mountain, the driver mutters about the loco Americano who wants to take pictures in the moonlight. The vehicle passes through a massive gate, and the stillness of a thousand years envelops the traveler's senses. Suddenly there is the sight of one of the great wonders of the world. Getting out of the cab, the visitor points a camera toward the towers and filigreed walls of the Alhambra, its beauty doubled by the reflecting pool beneath it. The camera records the magic moment.
