PORT JEFFERSON TWELVE hours after her labor began, Tina Kwiatokowski of Medford delivered her first child, a boy, in the birthing room at St. Charles Hospital. Her husband, Ed, a bank officer, helped out the whole time, wiping her brow with a damp rag and encouraging her during heavy contractions.
