BERRY HOPES TO PLAY TONIGHT
On the eve of a pivotal game with its fiercest rival, St. John's faces the prospect of playing Georgetown without its best player. One day after suffering the worst injury of his career, Walter Berry, St. John's 6-foot-8-inch center, was examined and received treatment yesterday for his injured left ankle. He was given permission to try to play tonight against Georgetown at the Capital Centre. But how much and how well Berry will play is a question that won't be determined until the game begins.
