MID-JUNE CAR SALES FELL 11.3%

LEAD: Sales of American-made new cars fell 11.3 percent in mid-June, to 223,376 units, the eight domestic manufacturers reported today. The decline was partly offset by a 7.6 percent increase in sales of light trucks, which often substitute for cars, to a total of 125,193.
