More Communities Are Organizing 'First Night' Fetes
RICHARD DOWLING had so much fun at Morristown's First Night last New Year's Eve that he framed and hung a poster of its program on his office wall. "It reminds me that people can be high in spirit without alcohol and can appreciate each other in a cultural setting," said Mr. Dowling, a Madison resident who is a drug counselor at Union County College in Cranford. "It was one of the best experiences I've ever had, and my wife and I plan to go to Summit's premier First Night this year."
