Higher charges for energy helped push consumer prices up three-tenths of 1 percent in February, the Government said today. But most economists say they still believe that inflation remains at bay. "There is little, if any, evidence that inflation is heating up," said Laurence H. Meyer, a consultant in St. Louis. But he added that the trend of progressively less inflation that marked most of the last decade had probably come to an end.

DeForest George Buckner is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oregon Ducks, and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. With the 49ers, Buckner made a Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro selection in 2019. With the Colts, he was selected to the first-team All Pro in 2020 and made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and 2023.

Terry William Rozier III, nicknamed "Scary Terry", is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals before being selected with the 16th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. Rozier spent his first four seasons as a reserve with the Celtics until being traded to the Charlotte Hornets in a sign-and-trade deal. Rozier was a starter for the Hornets for four-and-a-half seasons before being traded to the Heat.

Charlotte "Lotte" Auerbach FRS FRSE was a German geneticist who contributed to founding the science of mutagenesis. She became well known after 1942 when she discovered, with A. J. Clark and J. M. Robson, that mustard gas could cause mutations in fruit flies. She wrote 91 scientific papers, and was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and of the Royal Society of London.
