A train derailed at a switch point outside Grand Central Terminal yesterday, blocking 11 tracks and scores of Metro-North Commuter Railroad trains during the morning rush. No one was hurt, but as the chaos of delays from the derailment began to subside, a bomb scare emptied the cavernous terminal.
