Microsoft Corp, after insisting that its World Wide Web browser software cannot be separated from its Windows 95 operating system, agrees to do just that to avoid being found in contempt of court; agrees to settlement in its antitrust battle with Justice Dept under which it will sell latest version of its Windows 95 operating system to computer manufacturers with company's Internet browser hidden or partly removed; agreement settles only part of Government's antitrust case against Microsoft; Netscape Communications Corp, Microsoft's rival on Internet, announces that it will begin giving away its browser, just as Microsoft does; photo (M)
