Stock Market's Success May Hinder Future Rally With about a month left in the millennium, the three main stock gauges are poised to record annual returns of more than 10 percent each for the fifth consecutive year -- an unprecedented streak. But the wealth generated by those gains may also pose the biggest threat to a repeat performance in 2000.
