A Top Coke Official Resigns Amid a Broad Revamping As part of its continued efforts to revive its beverage business, Coca-Cola announced a series of sweeping management changes, including the resignation Jack L. Stahl, the president and chief operating officer. The changes create four business units -- Americas, Asia, Europe/Africa and New Business Ventures -- with the head of each reporting directly to Coke's chairman and chief executive, Douglas Daft.
