Price of Natural Gas Falls For Southern California The price of natural gas sold into Southern California has fallen sharply during the last week following both the plunge in electricity prices and the expiration of a controversial pipeline contract held by the El Paso Corporation. The drop has prompted the company's critics to suggest that it shows the effect the El Paso contract had in keeping gas prices high. Timothy James McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist who masterminded and perpetrated the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. The bombing itself killed 167 people, injured 684 people, and destroyed one-third of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. A rescue worker was killed after the bombing when debris struck her head, bringing the total to 168 killed. It remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history.
