MALTBY-Christian. Age 37. Of Chatham, NJ. Missing and presumed dead as a result of the World Trade Center tragedy. Christian is survived by his wife Jane and children Max 8, Morgan 5, Samuel 2. Additionally are his mother Mrs. Robert Butler of the US Virgin Islands, father Thomas Maltby of Syracuse, NY, brothers Jason of Chatham, NJ and Jonathan of East Brunswick, NJ and their families, his grandparents Mrs. Elizabeth Maltby of Syracuse, NY and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kesner. Christian, a graduate of Fordham University, was an Assistant Vice President of Cantor Fitzgerald located on the 105th floor of the World Trade Center. A service in his memory will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at 10AM at Grace Episcopal Church, 4 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ. JOHNSON-Scott Michael. Of New York City, died in the attack on civil society at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He was 26 years old. Scott was born on April 7, 1975 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He was a 1993 graduate of the Montclair Kimberley Academy, Montclair, NJ and a 1997 graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT. After college, Scott was employed as a private banker for the Bank of New York. In March 2000, he joined the investment banking firm of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc. as a securities analyst in its World Trade Center offices. He is survived by his parents, Ann and Thomas S. Johnson of New York and Montclair; his brother Thomas P. Johnson and sister-in-law, Isabella Speakman Johnson of Washington, DC, and his sister Margaret Johnson of New York City. He is also survived by his grandfathers, H. Norman Johnson of Racine, WI and Stanley M. Werner of Dunedin, FL., 14 aunts and uncles, 25 cousins, and many loving friends. VALDES-John Terhune. Died September 19th, 2001, in West Palm Beach, after a long illness. A memorial service is being planned for February. Mr. Valdes was born in Philadelphia, December 22, 1923, the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. Francisco Valdes of Ithan, Pennsylvania. He attended the Haverford School and graduated from St. George's School in Middletown, Rhode Island in June of 1941. Mr. Valdes entered Princeton University, but left to become a Naval Aviator and torpedo bomber pilot aboard the aircraft carrier ''Fanshaw Bay'' during the Okinawa campaign. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and four Air Medals upon his release from the Navy in 1945. Mr. Valdes returned to Princeton to graduate in 1948. His interest in the ''Triangle Club'' dramatic group led to his employment at CBS Television in New York as a special effects supervisor on many of the pioneering CBS network shows including ''The Jackie Gleason Show'', ''Ed Sullivan Show'' and ''Studio One''. He was later employed as a television account executive with BBDO advertising agency in New York and Detroit, working on network television shows for the Chrysler Corporation. For several years in the midfifties, Mr. Valdes was co-owner of Radio Station WCUE AM/FM Akron, Ohio. For many years Mr. Valdes was a director of several New Jersey banks, finally retiring to Florida after the merger of the First Colonial National Bank with the First Fidelity Bancorporation. Mr Valdes is survived by six grandchildren and four daughters; Mrs. Stacy Lorenceau of San Martin, California, Ms. Midge Valdes of New York City, Victoria McKellar of Phoenix, AZ and Ms. Fleury Kelly Valdes of Unionville, Pennsylvania and Southern Pines, North Carolina. THEURKAUF-Thomas Francis, Jr. 44, of Stamford, CT, perished Tuesday, September 11, 2001, in the tragic events at the World Trade Center where he worked as Executive Vice President for Keefe, Bruyette and Woods. Tom was born and raised in Glastonbury, CT, received his BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School. Tom leaves his beloved wife Robin (Siegel) Theurkauf of Stamford, CT, and their three wonderful children Tommy, Teddy, and Henry. He was the son of Helen and Thomas Theurkauf, Sr., Glastonbury, CT, brother to Bill Theurkauf, Sterling, MA, Pat Theurkauf and Barbara Theurkauf, both of Glastonbury, CT. In addition, he leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins across the United States. Tom will be dearly missed by his family, friends and associates. His Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 28th, 10 AM, at St. Patrick-St. Anthony's Church, Church St, Hartford, CT. GLINE-Murray. On Monday, September 17, 2001, Murray Gline of Bethesda, Maryland, formerly of Baldwin, New York. A kind, loving man, he will be deeply missed by his wife of 55 years, Phoebe Meyers Gline, his daughters Ellen Gline Block and Barbara Gline Pearlman, his grandchildren Sarah Block, Rachel Block and Daniel Pearlman, and his sons-in-law David Block and Rob Pearlman. LEVIN-Neil D. Age 46, of New York City, missing and presumed dead in the World Trade Center attack, September 11, 2001. Neil was the Executive Director of the NYNJ Port Authority, a job he loved. He was a good friend, a mentor and role model for many. He will be deeply missed by his wife Christy Ferer, step-daughters Caitlin and Ali, his mother Gloria, his brother Stanley, sister-in-law Robin, nephew Adam and niece Kim. His father was the late Morton H. Levin. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00PM Tuesday, September 25th at Manhattan's Temple Emanu-El, 66th Street and Fifth Avenue.
