Adelphia Creditors Sue Banks, Claiming Duplicity Creditors of Adelphia Communications filed suit against dozens of banks that lent billions of dollars to Adelphia and its founding family. The creditors claim the banks enabled the looting of the money from Adelphia, which is now bankrupt. The suit is the first major step to hold anyone but the family, the Rigases, responsible in the downfall of Adelphia, a cable company. The strength of the case is unclear. [Page C2.]
