Symbol of Corporate Excess Set to Go on Trial Today L. Dennis Kozlowski, the former chairman and chief executive of Tyco International, goes on trial today on charges that he helped steal $600 million from the company. Mr. Kozlowski has become a symbol for the corporate excesses that now cloud the 1990's boom years.
