Judge Says She Is Satisfied With Microsoft's Actions A federal judge said that she was generally satisfied with Microsoft's efforts to comply with the settlement terms in the government's antitrust case, after the software maker announced steps to make it easier for companies to license its technology. The judge's comments come a week after the Justice Department, along with 16 states and the District of Columbia, said the November 2002 decree had ''fallen short'' in nurturing competition in the industry.
