Bobby Howard Byrd was an American rhythm and blues, soul and funk singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, bandleader, and talent dedicated. He played a part in the development of soul and funk music in association with James Brown.

Joseph Ejercito Estrada, also known by the nickname Erap, is a Filipino politician and former actor, who served as the 13th president of the Philippines from 1998 until his resignation in 2001. Estrada previously served as the ninth vice president of the Philippines from 1992 to 1998, the 22nd mayor of Manila, the country's capital from 2013 to 2019, and the 14th mayor of San Juan from 1969 to 1986. In 2000, he became the first chief executive in Asia to be formally impeached, resigning two months later at the height of the Second EDSA Revolution. As a result, Estrada served the third shortest term as Philippine president, after Emilio Aguinaldo and Sergio Osmeña.

2007 Bengkulu earthquakes

2007Two earthquakes measuring 8.4 and 7.9 on the Richter Scale hits the Indonesian island of Sumatra, killing 25 people and injuring 161.[†]

The 2007 Bengkulu earthquakes were a series of megathrust earthquakes that struck the Sunda Trench off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, with three of magnitude 7 or greater. A series of tsunami bulletins was issued for the area. The most powerful of the series had a magnitude of 8.4, which makes it in the top 20 of the largest earthquakes ever recorded on a seismograph.
