2007Michael Kidd, American dancer and choreographer (born 1915)[â ]
Michael Kidd was an American film and stage choreographer, dancer and actor, whose career spanned five decades, and who staged some of the leading Broadway and film musicals of the 1940s and 1950s. Kidd, strongly influenced by Charlie Chaplin and LĂ©onide Massine, was an innovator in what came to be known as the "integrated musical", in which dance movements are integral to the plot.

Oscar Emmanuel Peterson was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer. As a virtuoso who is considered to be one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time, Peterson released more than 200 recordings, won eight Grammy Awards, as well as a lifetime achievement award from the Recording Academy, and received numerous other awards and honours. He played thousands of concerts worldwide in a career lasting more than 60 years. He was called the "Maharaja of the keyboard" by Duke Ellington, simply "O.P." by his friends, and informally in the jazz community, "the King of inside swing".

The Kingdom of Nepal was a Hindu monarchy in South Asia, founded in 1768 through the expansion of the Gorkha Kingdom. The kingdom was also known as the Gorkha Empire and was sometimes called Asal Hindustan. Founded by Prithvi Narayan Shah, a Gorkha monarch who claimed Thakuri ancestry from the chaubisi principalities, the kingdom endured for 240 years under the formal rule of the Shah dynasty, whose authority fluctuated over time. It lasted until 2008, when the monarchy was abolished and the country became the Federal Democratic Republic.
