An article last Sunday about the growth of a Nativity scene first created 40 years ago by an Italian immigrant at St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, misspelled the Italian word for Nativity scene. It is presepio, not precipio.

The headline in some copies with a capsule summary last Sunday for an article about the troubled presidency of Umaru Yar’Adua misidentified the country he heads. It is Nigeria, not Somalia.
