It is 12.7 millimeters; there is no 12.7-caliber.

An article on Wednesday about a deadly accident at a hydroelectric plant in Siberia misstated the given name of the acting chief executive of the company that owns the plant, who said most of the workers trapped inside probably had drowned. He is Vasily Zubakin, not Vitaly.

An article on Sunday about a last-minute rush to take advantage of the government’s cash for clunkers program misidentified the car being traded in by Chris Bonk, a talent agent. It was a Chevrolet Blazer, not a Ford Bronco.

A picture caption on Friday with an article about a local development corporation that lobbied on behalf of New York City’s plan to revitalize the area around the new Mets stadium misidentified the man shown in his waste transfer business. He is David Antonacci, a member of Willets Point United, a business owners’ group trying to stop the plan. He is not Gerald Antonacci, David’s brother and the president of Willets Point, who is quoted in the article. (The brothers run Crown Container, one of the area’s more than 250 companies that will be required to move when construction begins.).

An article on Monday about the Warner Brothers Television Group misstated the financial performance of Warner Brothers. The studio’s annual revenue — not its profit — is $10 billion.

Edward Moore Kennedy was an American lawyer and politician from Massachusetts who served as a member of the United States Senate from 1962 to his death in 2009. A member of the Democratic Party and the prominent Kennedy family, he was the second-most-senior member of the Senate when he died. He is ranked fifth in U.S. history for length of continuous service as a senator. Kennedy was the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy and U.S. attorney general and U.S. senator Robert F.
