A report in the National Briefing column on Saturday about the Detroit Shrine Circus’s loss of its home on the grounds of the Michigan State Fair misstated the history of the fair and erroneously attributed a distinction to it. It is 16o years old, not 106. And while it is the oldest continuously operating state fair in the nation, it is not the oldest. At least one other state fair, New York’s, began earlier but was closed for several consecutive years.

Because of an editing error, a report in The Caucus column on Tuesday about an announcement by the National Tea Party that it will broadcast the main parts of its convention live on cable television and the Internet misspelled the surname of the writer. She is Kate Zernike, not Zernicke. 

A picture on Wednesday with an article about an archive of papers that belonged to Grace Tully, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s last personal secretary, was published in error. While the full photograph does show Ms. Tully, the part that was published showed Roosevelt with another secretary, Marguerite LeHand, known as Missy; Ms. Tully was not shown.

A music column in some copies on Monday about the Grammy Awards ceremony misidentified the song Pink was singing while suspended on a slinglike trapeze. It was “Glitter in the Air,” not “Speechless.” (As noted elsewhere in the column, “Speechless” was performed by Lady Gaga and Elton John.)

A music review on Monday about a program of songs written by Michael Friedman, part of Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, misstated, at one point, the title of one of the musicals for which he wrote songs. As noted elsewhere in the review, it is “This Beautiful City,” not “The Beautiful Life.”

A report in the “Arts, Briefly” column last Thursday about the Nielsen estimates of prime-time television audiences on Jan. 26 misstated the difference in the number of viewers of “American Idol,” on Fox, and “NCIS,” on CBS. “American Idol” had about four million more, not three million.

The Second Opinion column on Tuesday, about Henrietta Lacks, who unknowingly contributed cancer cells to medical researchers before her death in 1951, misstated the surname of one of her children at one point. As noted elsewhere in the column, she is Deborah Lacks-Pullum, not Pullum-Lacks.

An obituary on Wednesday about James H. Quello, a longtime member of the Federal Communications Commission, misstated the given name of the executive director of the communications and society program at the Aspen Institute, who commented on Mr. Quello’s tenure on the commission. He is Charles Firestone, not David.
