An answer in the Q&A column on Jan. 24 about points of interest in Los Angeles misstated the location of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It is midway between downtown and Santa Monica; it is not in downtown.

Because of an editing error, an item in the Globespotters column on Jan. 31 about places offering affordable massage and reflexology in Mumbai, India, misidentified the type of massage offered by Aura Thai Spa. It is traditional Thai massage, not Keralan ayurvedic.

The Sports of The Times column last Sunday, about long-suffering pro football fans in New Orleans who could use some good times, misstated, in some editions, the birth order of the sons of former Saints quarterback Archie Manning. Peyton Manning is his second son, not his oldest son. (Cooper is the oldest and Eli is the youngest.)

An article last Sunday about Serena Williams’s victory over Justine Henin in the Australian Open women’s final the previous day erroneously attributed a distinction to Li Na and Zheng Jie. They became the first two Chinese players to advance to the semifinals in singles at the same Grand Slam tennis tournament; they did not become the first Chinese to make it to a Grand Slam semifinal. (Zheng played in the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2008.)

A picture caption last Sunday with an article about Sam Sullivan, a former mayor of Vancouver who caught the world’s attention when he waved an Olympic flag from his wheelchair at the close of the 2006 Games in Turin, Italy, misidentified, in some copies, the woman shown with him and misstated the location of the picture. She is a member of a group that seeks to aid drug users in Vancouver — not Mr. Sullivan’s fiancée, Lynn Zanatta. And the picture was taken in the Downtown Eastside, a neighborhood in Vancouver; it was not taken at the “Eastside Association.”

Ilya Kovalchuk may not be a Devil past this spring. But unless Coach Jacques Lemaire locks him in a defensive straitjacket, he should give the Devils a new offensive dimension.
