Corrections

Because of an editing error, the Our Towns column on Thursday, about the Nutmeg Curling Club in Bridgeport, Conn., which is drawing new interest because of the Olympics, misidentified the location of a New Jersey club. The club, the Plainfield Curling Club, is in South Plainfield, not Plainfield.

An article and a picture caption in some editions last Friday about sluggish sales at some developments participating in the city’s affordable-housing program misidentified the location of Waters Edge at Arverne, a project in Queens that is offering free 42-inch, flat-screen television sets to lure condominium buyers. It is in Arverne, not Far Rockaway. (Both communities are part of the Rockaways.)
