Corrections

 A review in some editions last Sunday of the play “Sylvia” at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven referred incompletely to one of its stars, Karen Ziemba. She is a Tony Award winner (in 2000, for “Contact”) as well as a four-time nominee.

An article in some editions last Sunday about the Hartford Jewish Film Festival misstated part of the name of a documentary about the Jewish contribution to basketball. It is “The First Basket,” not “The Last Basket.”

An article in some editions last Sunday about Michael Chatfield, a playground basketball legend who was fatally shot in October at age 31, incorrectly described the Queensbridge housing development in Long Island City, Queens, where he grew up. It is the largest public housing project in North America, not the largest housing project.

An article last Sunday about the jobs that Chris Mooney worked before becoming head coach of the University of Richmond men’s basketball team omitted part of the name of a previous employer. Mooney taught English and coached at Lansdale Catholic High School in Pennsylvania, not at Lansdale High School. (The public Lansdale High School was incorporated into the North Penn School District in 1956.)

Because of a production error, the Food column in The Times Magazine omitted a measurement in a recipe, and a correction in Sunday’s magazine misstates the issue in which the error occurred. The recipe omitted the amount of raw corn kernels needed in Lantern Cracker Jack; it is one-third of a cup. The recipe appeared in the Feb. 28 issue of the magazine, not the March 7 issue.

An obituary last Sunday about the violinist Patricia Travers misspelled in some editions the name of the maker of one of the instruments she played as a child prodigy. He was Guarneri del Gesù, not Guarnari del Gesù.

Peter Graves was an American actor who portrayed Jim Phelps in the television series Mission: Impossible from 1967 to 1973 and in its revival from 1988 to 1990. His elder brother was actor James Arness. Graves also played airline pilot Captain Clarence Oveur in the 1980 comedy film Airplane! and its 1982 sequel Airplane II: The Sequel.
