An article last Sunday about Patti Smith misstated the title of one of her songs. It is “Because the Night,” not “Because of the Night.”

A short article in the In Transit column last Sunday about the Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore, using information from a publicist, misstated the number of rooms at the resort, which has scheduled a “preview opening” on April 27 and a grand opening on June 23. The Marina Bay Sands will have 2,560 rooms — not 963, which is the number of rooms expected to be open for the preview.
