WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 19. -- A sixty-mile stretch of the Florida east coast, from the Palm Beach district on the north to the Miami district on the south, was devastated Saturday morning by a tropical hurricane that swept in from the Atlantic Ocean at 130 miles an hour.
