Jason Furman is an American economist and professor at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and a nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. On June 10, 2013, Furman was named by President Barack Obama as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA). Furman has also served as the deputy director of the U.S. National Economic Council, which followed his role as an advisor for the Barack Obama 2008 presidential campaign.

He rose to prominence for his role as Theodore Huxtable on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show (1984â1992), which earned him a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 38th Primetime Emmy Awards. He is also known for his roles as Malcolm McGee on the UPN sitcom Malcolm & Eddie (1996â2000), and Dr. Alex Reed in the sitcom Reed Between the Lines, Warner also portrayed the character Sticky the VP of motorcycle club The Grim Bastards on FX show Sons of Anarchy (2014).
