JAWORSKI THINKS TRIAL WILL SNOW NIXON'S FULL ROLE

Watergate prosecutor Leon Jaworski says he believes full story of former Pres Nixon's role in Watergate affair will emerge during current trial of Nixon's former top assts; says he expects most of White House tapes his office has obtained through Sup Ct decision to be made public during trial, int on NBC TV program Meet the Press; defends himself against critics who have said he should have pressed for indictment of Nixon and that he should have contested Pres Ford's pardon of Nixon; says there is some information that has not yet come out but dismisses idea that there might be major new disclosures; says he should have been consulted, but was not, concerning Pres Ford's agreement with Nixon on disposition of tapes and other documents; says he has agreement with White House that neither tapes nor documents be sent to Calif while they are still needed by prosecutor's office; says he could not have challenged Pres pardon of Nixon because his job did not give him authority to do so; clearly indicates that he does not think indictment of Nixon would have delayed or prevented pardon; says he does not think pardon completely removes from Nixon the possibility of refusing to testify on ground of self-incrimination; says Nixon might still plead 5th Amendment on ground that pardon protects him only against Fed prosecution; says he is not 100% satisfied with Ford's account of reasons for pardon; Jaworski por (L)
