A map on Wednesday with an article about conservative Democrats’ plans on health care gave an incorrect location for a district in Georgia represented by a fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrat. The district, the Eighth, is in the center of the state, not along the Alabama border. A corrected map can be found at nytimes.com/politics.

Because of an editing error, an article on Aug. 25 about the announcement that the filly Rachel Alexandra would face older male horses in the Woodward Stakes this Saturday at Saratoga misstated the size of the purse for the race before it was raised to $750,000. It was $500,000, not $250,000.
